Donald Trump will not be releasing his medical records during a television appearance with Dr. Mehmet Oz despite previous reports.
The Republican presidential nominee is scheduled to appear on "The Dr. Oz Show" today and clips from the interview will be released this afternoon. The episode will not air in full until Thursday.
There was earlier speculation that Trump would share his medical history with Dr. Oz.
Without explicitly referencing his Dr. Oz appearance, Trump said he would release the results from his physical this week. His campaign said this morning that the release timeline is now uncertain.
According to a press release, Trump and his daughter Ivanka will address "why the health of the candidates has become such a serious issue in this campaign, plus Mr. Trump reveals his own personal health regimen" with Dr. Oz.
In subsequent interviews promoting the show, Oz said that more information would be revealed. Oz reportedly spoke to Fox News anchors about his Trump interview, and on Tuesday during "Fox and Friends," Fox host Brian Kilmeade said that Oz told them that Trump's previously-undisclosed records will be shared.
"I know this -- that Donald Trump will turn over those records right to Dr. Oz and he will analyze it and it will be a surprise to Donald Trump what Dr. Oz is going to say," Kilmeade said, citing his earlier conversation with Oz.
Now, aides to the Trump campaign said that Trump will talk about his well-being and child care issues with Oz. Last night he announced his campaign's plan for paid maternity leave during a campaign rally.
