Hillary Clinton Wins the District of Columbia Democratic Primary

Hillary Clinton will win the Democratic primary in Washington D.C., according to the Associated Press.

Tonight's contest marks the end of the primary season and a long battle for the Democratic nomination between Clinton and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Last Tuesday, Clinton locked up the Democratic nomination, making history as the first woman to be a major party's nominee.

Sanders, however, has remained in the race and he and Clinton were set to meet tonight in Washington.
