Clinton Says in Email Nomination Broke Glass Ceiling

Hillary Clinton's clinching of the Democratic nomination has given her campaign a new line to use in their fundraising emails -- that they "broke one of the highest, hardest glass ceilings in America."

Clinton is poised to become the first female nominee for a major American political party after securing the necessary number of delegates.

"After all our hard work and tough fights -- and an unwavering commitment to love, kindness, our country, and each other -- we broke one of the highest, hardest glass ceilings in America," the fundraising email reads.

"For the first time ever, a woman will be a major party’s nominee to become President of the United States," it states.

The email then goes on to talk about Clinton's mother and the passage of the 19th Amendment, giving women the right to vote.

Then the note turns to Donald Trump.

Without mentioning him by name, the email reads "We cannot let a man who demeans women, attacks people for their race or religion, and traffics in paranoid conspiracy theories take the Oath of Office."
