With just two days until the final Republican debate before the Iowa caucuses, Donald Trump is reigniting his feud with Fox News host and debate moderator Megyn Kelly, saying he is "not 100 percent" sure he will attend.
The feud between Trump and Kelly first started last August at the very first Republican presidential debate. The two had a contentious back-and-forth.
In a question directed at Trump, Kelly listed derogatory remarks she said the GOP hopeful has made about women, from “fat pigs” to “dogs, slobs and disgusting animals.”
Trump fired back on Twitter following the debate.
But it didn’t end there.
Trump continued to criticize the Fox News host, telling CNN that “There was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever." In an interview with ABC's "This Week" in August, Trump reiterated that he meant Kelly's nose when he said "wherever."
Kelly said in an interview with Charlie Rose last October that neither she nor Fox News wanted “any sort of war” with Trump.
“He was obviously upset. That's fine; he's running for president, it's not a fun business, there's gonna be ups and downs and I know he considered that a down,” Kelly said. “So we just wanted to forge forward and try to put it behind us, not pour any more fuel on that fire."
While Kelly insisted she wouldn’t engage in a feud with Trump, she was quick to respond on social media after a series of attacks from the Republican front-runner.
With Kelly returning to the moderator’s chair this Thursday in Iowa, Trump has been hinting that he may be a no-show.
In an interview with CNN this week, Trump said that he’s “not 100 percent” set on going to Thursday’s debate.
And on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday, he said he was still "making a decision" on whether to attend.
"I don't think she's professional at all,” Trump told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, referring to Kelly. “She's very biased against me."
Kelly has not responded directly, but Fox News did.
“Sooner or later Donald Trump, even if he’s president, is going to have to learn that he doesn’t get to pick the journalists,” a Fox News spokesperson said in a statement Monday. “We’re very surprised he’s willing to show that much fear about being questioned by Megyn Kelly.”
