Texas Army base Fort Sam Houston under lockdown: reports

Fort Sam Houston is on lockdown amid unconfirmed reports of an active shooter and a bomb threat.

KSAT-TV reports traffic to the Texas base were blocked when the lockdown started at 5:30 p.m., but a cause has not been elaborated.

Calls by the Daily News to the U.S. Army facility in San Antonio have not been returned.
