MET OFFICE experts predict the storm will barrel across the Atlantic and hit Britain late on Monday with motorists warned to expect 'significant disruption'.

A FIERCE storm which has been battering the Caribbean is threatening to cause chaos here this week.
Forecasters fear that Hurricane Gonzalo will cause power cuts, bring down trees and disrupt transport when it sweeps across Scotland.
Motorists have been warned to take 'extreme care' after experts could not say just how severe the weather will be.
The Met Office predict the 300 mile-wide storm, which hit Bermuda with 134mph winds, will barrel across the Atlantic and arrive tomorrow night.
It will also affect commuters heading to work on Tuesday.
Transport Scotland have been warned to expect 'significant disruption' in the Borders and on south-west and east coasts which face 60mph gusts.
RAC spokesman Simon Williams said: 'Motorists should be prepared and take extreme care, particularly with debris expected on roads which could cause accidents.'
A week's worth of rain - up to 40mm - is forecast during the storm, threatening to wreak havoc for drivers.
With gales of up to more than 70mph and 23ft waves forecast, Gonzalo is the strongest Atlantic hurricane in four years.
The US National Hurricane Centre said the powerful storm will bring 'sustained' winds of up to 73mph to Scotland.
The Met Office have already issued a severe weather warning.
And the outlook for the rest of the week isn't much better. Temperatures will plunge, with winter's first real snowfall due on higher ground on Wednesday.
Met Office forecaster Simon Partridge said: 'People should keep up to date with the latest warnings.'
