FRISCO, TEXAS (WJLA) - A new patient showing possible signs of Ebola, who said he had contact with Thomas Eric Duncan, the Liberian man who died of Ebola in Dallas Monday, was rushed to a hospital Wednesday, according to multiple news outlets.
News station WFAA reports the patient was being rushed to a CareNow facility in the city of Frisco, Texas.
The Dallas Business Journal reports the new patient checked 'yes' on a questionnaire asking about recent travel to West Africa.
The patient's illness has not yet been positively confirmed as Ebola virus. The CareNow facility is in contact with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and hospital staff are being monitored, according to the Journal.
WJLA will update this story as more information comes in.
