Michelle Obama rocks out with a turnip

Michelle Obama couldn't resist a good veggie pun in a Twitter chat on Tuesday.

In a social media back and forth to promote the first lady's healthy eating initiative, an actor impersonating President Obama challenged her to explain 'How many calories do you burn every time you 'turn up'?!'

Without missing a beat, Obama turned the conversation away from dishing on her frolicing ways and back to the garden.

Showing off her hip hop cred, she held up a turnip as she head bumped her way through DJ Snake and Lil Jon's 'Turn Down for What' in a 6 second Vine video.

DJ Snake, a French music producer, was pretty pumped up about the presidential shoutout.

'NOBODY can't talk to me for the rest of the week,' he tweeted after Obama selected his song.
