Longtime 'American Top 40' radio host Casey Kasem has been located in Washington state, his family said, according to a statement released by his daughter's publicist.

'We have received confirmation that Casey Kasem has been found. The family has grave concerns about his health and will do everything in their power to bring him back home,' the statement from Danny Deraney, Kerri Ksaem's publicist said. The notice was posted on Facebook.

A judge on Monday had ordered an investigation into the whereabouts of the famed radio countdown host, 82, as it emerged he had been removed from Los Angeles without his children's knowledge.

He has advanced Parkinson's and can no longer speak.

Kasem has been in various medical facilities chosen by his wife, Jean Kasem, and Kasem's kids have long been battling over their father.
