A Florida woman was attacked by a bear outside of her home Saturday night.
The 200-pound black bear bit her head and arm after she was cornered by five bears that were searching for food in her garbage cans at her Seminole County residence, authorities said.
The 45-year-old woman was transported to a hospital and released.
Several bears were in the area because they were searching for food after their winter hibernation, authorities said.
Several bears were spotted in the wooded area but were scared away by traffic, TV station WFTV reports.
Fish and Wildlife officials were combing the area armed with tranquilizer guns, the station reported.
