Jimmy Fallon and Rahm Emanuel were freezing for a reason on Sunday during Chicago's annual polar plunge, which raises money for the city's special olympics.

Fallon's expressions were priceless as he fled the water.

The comedian took a dip in a full suit and tie into a cold Lake Michigan to fulfill a promise to Chicago's mayor.

In return for Fallon taking the plunge, Emaneul said on Twitter that he would appear on 'The Tonight Show'.

Fallon and Emanuel have been exchanging jokes and challenges about the event via social media over the last month.
