Lightning zapped the joy out of the happiest place on Earth.

Passengers at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida got stuck on the Epcot monorail after lightning reportedly struck the track, passengers believe.

The train with about 120 passengers onboard lost power in an instant stranding riders in the middle of the ride at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday as stormy weather passed over the Orlando resort, according to WESH-TV.

Reedy Creek firefighters evacuated the grounded riders from the sticky hot train by raising a ladder to the track. Photos show the windows were thick with condensation and hand-drawn Mickey Mouse ears.

Disney World officials have not confirmed if the power outage was caused by the lightning strike, the TV station reported.

There were no reports of injuries. The passengers were all helped off the train by 8 p.m.
