INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - On Saturday night there will be another chance to catch the supermoon, if weather allows.

On Friday night the summer of supermoons kicked off. NASA says every full moon this summer will be a supermoon.

The moon appears larger and brighter, because it's as close to the earth as it can get.The moon may seem huge, but the position of the moon in the sky creates an illusion.

Several people spotted the moon overnight Friday, and Saturday will be another chance if there aren't any clouds.

There will be another supermoon on August 10, followed by another on September 9.
